Get Inspired With Me #3
I'm gonna keep this one short and sweet.
This quote is self explanatory; it's more a reminder than a new idea. However, I am definitely guilty of taking the beauty around me for granted - and I don't mean just aesthetically pleasing things. One of the most beautiful things life has to offer are people, friends, family. If we're all perfectly honest with ourselves, I'm sure we've all taken some of the most important people in our lives for granted. Or maybe we don't appreciate the gifts given to us both palpable and not.
So here's just a quick reminder - look around, see the beauty you're surrounded with. No matter what your life is like there is beauty there.
And here's a crazy thought: guess what? To someone you're that beautiful thing. Keep smiling, keep living, keep being you, because believe it or not you're probably making someone's day.
My goal this week is...
To look around me and see all the great things I have - good friends, a loving family, and so much more; that in itself is enough.

Music I've loved // August 2015
I have been looking forward to the end of August - just so I could write this post.
Crazy, I know.
As many of you may know, I am extremely passionate about music; and being able to share my favorite music with you has got me super excited! Each song will link you to its track on Soundcloud.
My music taste ranges from classical to EDM - so my choices are all across the board.
*The Other Woman*
Lana Del Rey
This song is so so beautiful. It has such a longing and melancholy vibe to it that just touches my soul. One of the best songs I have ever heard in my life.
*Goddess*
Chrome Sparks
This song is a great EDM track. I prefer listening to it in headphones, and I love listening to it while I'm writing. It's got a way of inspiring me to be productive.

*Jackal - Animal Style*
Mad Decent
This EDM track is especially intense. It's an amazing mix of Trap and Dubstep that gets inside your head. Lovers of Trap will love this.

Another EDM track, this discovery was made because of my decision to join soundcloud! I was very pleasantly surprised to find that soundcloud was a perfect match for me.
Cosmo's Midnight
Yes, you guessed it, another EDM track - but this one is seriously amazing; it might even be my favorite.
Lana Del Rey
So maybe this month there isn't that much variation? What can I say I've been really loving Lana. Her voice is something else entirely.
Jessie J
I'm a sucker for some good old Jessie J. She's talent if I've ever heard it - I mean her voice is crazy good! Her range is out of this world and her voice is so strong.
Cover by Vince Kidd
This is actually a link to an audition for the Voice UK, but boy is it good. Vince's rendition of the classic "Like a Virgin" is incredible to say the least.
Alt-j
I listen to a lot of EDM (especially on soundcloud) and this song is one of the best I've heard. It has such a good beat and such funky twists throughout the whole song.
Medasin
This is such a fun track! It's definitely more chill but I love it for just that. It's got some great saxophone mixed in it which is always a fun time.

I have been listening to this song for months and I still love it. It's so unique and funky in the best way. Definitely a must listen.
